Power Radio 99 is one of some commercial
FM Radio channels in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, licensed by Federal Government
of Pakistan under Pakistan Electronic Media Authority (PEMRA). The channel gain
popularity in no time and now it is giving 24 hours entertainment and information.
FM Radio Power99 started
its test transmission on 23rd
March, 2003.Within three months of getting License from (PEMRA), its transmitter
is installed at G-11, Markaz, Islamabad and it is covering an aerial distance of
70 Kilometers radius enabling them to cover important cities/town around Islamabad.
A radio station that is equipped with high sophisticated broadcast machinery and
trained professionals.

Objective |
Power99 FM Radio believes in “a broadcast
with vision” and this can happen
by breaking technical presentational and content based clichés. One of
the main objectives of Power99 is to address some of the prevailing social,
ethical, religious and aesthetical dogmas in a
creative manner. Organization
is optimistic to bring about a discernable behavioral change in the society.
To promote the neglected ethnic
cultural linguistic and religious minorities
in order to help them regain their self esteem so that they can participate
in the society positively.
To set an instance by providing a platform to the
masses so that they can participate by sharing and discussing issues
